Dear Participant The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine is conducting a research study aimed at understanding the experiences of mental health practitioners regarding discrimination. Participants in this study will be asked to complete a brief survey, which should take approximately 15 minutes. Your responses will provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by mental health professionals and contribute to efforts to address and manage discrimination in the field. |
| • If you complete this survey, it will be assumed that you consent to participate in this research study. • You must be at least 18 years of age or older and be a practicing mental health professional to participate in this study. • You decide whether or not you want to participate. If you do not participate, you will not lose any of your rights or benefits. You may decide to stop answering the questions on this survey at any time. • You may stop taking the survey at any time by closing your browser window or exiting the survey. Any information that you have already entered may still be used for research purposes. • After you return the survey, we cannot return it to you, as we will be unable to identify which survey was yours. • The potential risks of taking the survey include emotional discomfort or loss of confidentiality. • You will not receive any direct compensation for your participation in this study. |
