ICTR Data Science Core provides end-to-end bioinformatic data analysis services, with emphases on data-driven methods and applications.
Our group has extensive experiences in data-intensive applications including data collection, retrieval, and management using web, cloud, and database based technologies and next generation sequencing data processing (e.g. WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, SCS, Microbiome) and associated downstream data analysis (e.g., annotation, copy number variation, differential gene expression). We can also provide web-based data visualization and develop customized data processing pipelines and software applications.

ICTR Medical Informatics Core
ICTR Medical Informatics Core
The mission of the Medical Informatics Core is to provide access to local sources of big data and lend expertise in the form of consultation or collaboration in advanced methods to analyze these data. Through well-developed processes, the Core has access to BCM's Data Warehouse containing Baylor Medicine and Baylor St. Luke's data and BCM's 'Omics Data Lake as well as data from Texas Children's Hospital, Harris Health, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital, BCM-Temple, National CommonSpirit Health, CommonSpirit Health-Texas Division, the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C), and Epic Cosmos and serves as an honest data broker.
